Personalization:
Maybe you want one of the designs already on my website edited a few changes. Can do. Colors can be edited. Sometimes a background can be switched out, an image replaced. Not all your ideas may work out, but asking does not hurt. Try to remember that small magnets are limited in how much information can be displayed in fun, fancy fonts. My main goal for designing will be to make sure your text will be readable.
Custom Designs:
Do you want an original design? I can probably work on something for you. Simple things are not going to cost extra. But if you want me to create a complicated image, that would take time, and cost more. How much more? That depends on the project, and the size the image will be printed at. I can manipulate photos and images. I can actually draw/paint graphics and images for new designs, which would obviously than simply adding text over a photograph.
Your design does not have to be wedding related; for example, this is a simple halloween save the date magnet (Small)

For projects with a lot of custom drawing- such as a specific pattern- I can create a rough sketch, and email that, before proceeding to render it on the computer. For that level of custom design work, I generally will charge before working out the full version.
Here is a good example of a custom design that I would charge more for:

This customer had the idea for her design. She showed me vines she liked, a photo of her labrador, and described the layout. I first sketched the design before she ordered the design work. A lot of people do end up wanting to include beloved pets; For many, they are like a third member of the family-to-be. This design fits on a 4.1x2.6 inch magnet.
You can buy designs by themselves, to print on your own or send to another printer. This means you can have me design for any type of product, and size. I can email files to you, be it PDF, JPG, TIF, etc. Let me know what requirements you or your printer has. Cost, again, depends on the complexity of the project.
Maps: A common custom design project:
Often maps will go with wedding invitations, not save the dates- to much detail for the save the date. But there are occasionally other projects that need maps. Custom maps are hand drawn, using a digital sketchpad. Pricing depends on what print size would you would like your map to print and whether the map will be simple or complex. 'Complexity' depends not only how curvy the streets are, but also the style. If you have seen a wedding map you liked, feel free to email me a link/attachment so that I can create something similar. I start the map off black and white, but can add color for extra. When you contact me for a map, I will first email you a sketch to make sure the layout is correct, before beginning the process of creating your map. At that time, you will be charged for the map. A basic estimate for a map is $15-$25. Maps can take two weeks to complete, although you can pay more to decrease this time frame.
Submitting your own designs:
You may be interested in one of my products, but want to use your own design. I will need to see your design to determine if this is possible. If you have created something in Word or PowerPaint, or another program... I will have to recreate your design for printing. Those programs do not produce print quality images. Often, I will need to recreate designs to accommodate needed resolution, size, margins, and color scheme. Customers will try to send images they found on the internet to use- this generally does not work. The size & resolution for images meant for someone looking at it on the computer is much lower than would be needed to print. I can provide PDF files at the correct resolution with bleed and safety margins for you to work with.
Response Times:
Most of my customers are referred to me via old customers, or their friends/family. But I have noticed that I get an increasing number of visitors from Yahoo and Google these days. I thought it would be prudent to reiterate that my response time is currently 2-4 days, though you should check the front page and/or Contact page for any notices regarding hiatus dates, delays, or vacations. This is a one woman operation, and not set up to offer instantaneous service. Sometimes I am able to answer your email very quickly; Most other times it takes me the full four days. If you email me, then order elsewhere or change you mind, please shoot me an email so that I am not left working on your project without need.
Do you want a different/custom product? Have a proposal?
I am willing to discuss new custom work. For example, I do not yet advertise wedding programs, or business logos, but have worked on them in the past. Cost will also depend on whether you are buying just a design, or having me print it. If I am printing this design, important factors in a quote might be: number of pieces/cards involved, sizes, whether envelopes are needed, quantity, materials (type of card stock)... etc.
Currently, I can not make magnets in custom shapes- like stars, shoes, etc. I also do not offer theromgraphy printing (raised ink).

If ordering one of my products, you will always get to see the final design before you pay me for the full order.
