As you can tell by the business name, Save the Date Originals started out selling Save the Dates for weddings. Since 2004, STDO has branched out into magnets, invitations, stickers, and more, for weddings, advertisements, and other commercial or personal needs.

      This website is run by Angela Bauter, and based in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Save the Date Originals is far from a local business- shipping to any state in the US and beyond the US (such as Canada).

      "I was introduced to the idea of 'save the date' magnets by my sister. At the time, there were only a few websites offering save the date magnets. I looked around, and found the same save the date magnet designs being sold over and over, at different places, with little variation, and some hefty fees for editing the pre-set designs. After working on my sister's wedding stationery, other's asked me to work on projects for their weddings."

      "I am around for those who want custom printed items on a budget. You can have me create custom designs for you, or at least edit my preexisting ones. I primarily made this website to create 'new' artwork and designs for people; Naturally, the more customers I have, the less time I have for this, but I am still interested in your idea. Producing intricate designs does cost more, but for simple layouts, I see no need to charge more. This website does not have a shopping cart, because I want to hear from and work out the final design with my customer before we finalize the order.      Angela is enrolled at UW-Milwaukee as a Computer Science major, with a minor in business.
